Hi, I'm Chris
I'm one of the many Bay Area transplants who moved to Antelope with my parents back in 2002, coming up from San Jose. Not long after settling in, my parents had a 15,000-gallon pool built with a beautiful Pebble Tec finish and Pentair equipment — complete with a salt cell.
I'd already taken over the family landscaping years earlier, and it wasn't long before I became the family pool guy too. Week after week, I maintained that pool — balancing chemicals, updating equipment, and learning everything I could. Those weekly visits became even more special when I started bringing my daughters, Mackenzie (born April 2015) and Lilly (born October 2018), over to see their grandparents. Both girls are absolutely obsessed with all things swimming — pools, rivers, lakes, and especially Sunsplash water park, where we have season passes!
After reaching division manager in the automotive service and tire sales industry, I made a decision: combine my love of pools with more time for my family. I purchased a small pool service route, started Pools Plus, and have been growing ever since — while expanding my expertise in specialized areas like leak detection and pool inspections, especially valuable in Sacramento and Placer County's always-churning real estate market.
